I thought coffee was just coffee, you know. You just made it and you served it. The bigger picture of it is so fascinating the deeper I delve into it. So,  I'm hoping to gain more confidence. I'm hoping to develop a stage personality. I definitely want to know my espresso, I want to own it. Work my way up and be a part of the stage and feel confident doing that.

I think the amazing people here has been the best part of it. Everybody has just been so accepting and friendly. Being deaf, I was nervous about being a part of things and it just really warmed my heart how everybody just kind of like brought me into their group and has been so understanding and that has been a really uplifitng experience since I came here. I'm hoping to represent the deaf community and encourage more deaf baristas to join.
